Meteorologists have released an updated weather forecast for Kyiv and the Kyiv region for Friday, June 20.

Forecast Details: Rain and Wind Gusts
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, predominantly cloudy weather with clearings is expected in the capital and the region on this day. No precipitation is forecasted at night, but a brief rain shower may occur during the day. The northwestern wind will reach speeds of 7-12 m/s, occasionally strengthening to gusts of 15-18 m/s.
“In Kyiv and the region — cloudy with clearings. No precipitation at night, a slight brief rain during the day. Wind — northwestern, 7-12 m/s, gusts 15-18 m/s,” meteorologists warned.
Temperature Readings and Possible Consequences
Meteorologists specify that in the Kyiv region, nighttime temperatures will range from 8 to 13°C, while daytime temperatures will warm up to 15-20°C. In the capital, nighttime temperatures will be 11-13°C, with daytime expectations of up to 18°C.
Hydrometeorological specialists warn that such weather conditions may complicate the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as impact transportation movement.
By morning, the air temperature in Kyiv had already reached 12°C with a relative humidity of 74% and an atmospheric pressure of 743 mmHg.
