Meteorologists have updated the forecast for Kyiv and the region for July 29.
On Tuesday, July 29, residents of Kyiv and the Kyiv region can expect prolonged rainfall, with thunderstorms possible in some areas. Despite the rainy weather, temperatures will remain high, creating some discomfort for the residents of the region.
Temperature and Weather Conditions
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, nighttime temperatures in the region will range from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will rise to 27–32°C. In Kyiv itself, nighttime temperatures will reach around 20°C, and during the day, the air will warm up to 30°C. Despite the rain, the heat will not subside, and the increased humidity may intensify the feeling of stuffiness.
“In Kyiv and the region — overcast with clearings, rain, and thunderstorms. The wind will be southeast at 7-12 m/s,” the meteorologists warned.
Impact on the City and Business Operations
Meteorologists emphasize that such weather conditions may complicate the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as affect transportation. As of the morning, the temperature in the capital was recorded at 20°C with a relative humidity of 83%, and atmospheric pressure remains at 740 mm of mercury.
