Zelensky to Announce New Head of the Presidential Office Soon

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that a decision regarding the appointment of a new head of the Presidential Office will be made in the near future. He stated this in his address, emphasizing that he has already held additional meetings with candidates for this position.

“We discussed the formats of the Office’s work, interaction with other state institutions, which is necessary for the interests of Ukraine. A decision regarding the new head of the Office will be made soon.”

Candidates for the Position and Personnel Changes

Zelensky did not name the candidates for the head of the Presidential Office. Meanwhile, Member of Parliament Bohdan Kytsak stated on air that the main candidate, according to his information, is the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov. However, there is currently no official confirmation of this information.

Additionally, the president announced the convening of a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, where the new distribution of personnel among the Armed Forces’ units will be discussed. According to Zelensky, this decision is intended to make the work of combat brigades more effective and confident.

Searches and the Resignation of Andriy Yermak

On November 28, it became known that searches were being conducted at the then head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak. He stated that investigators encountered no obstacles during their work. The details of the criminal case and Yermak’s status remain unknown; however, according to media reports, he does not have the status of a suspect.

Later that same day, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Andriy Yermak had submitted his resignation as head of the Presidential Office. The president thanked Yermak for his work and noted that it is important to avoid rumors and speculation surrounding this situation.
