Due to a break in the water supply network in Pechersk, a serious situation has arisen regarding water supply on two streets. According to information from the Public Joint Stock Company “Kyivvodokanal”, the accident occurred at 3-A Kruty Uzviz, resulting in a complete water outage in the affected areas.

Details of the accident and response measures
According to company representatives, the damage occurred on a section of the main pipeline with a diameter of 300 mm.
“During the repair work, a section of the main pipeline with a diameter of 300 mm has been shut off. Water supply is temporarily unavailable at the following addresses: Kruty Uzviz, Nos. 3-A, 5, Darwin Street, Nos. 1–8, 10. A water tanker with drinking water has been dispatched and will be located at 3-A Kruty Uzviz”
To eliminate the consequences of the accident and carry out repairs, a portion of the road needs to be excavated. As a result, traffic on Kruty Uzviz is temporarily restricted in the direction of the city center, especially on the odd side of the street.
Measures taken and provision of water
During the repair work, a water tanker with drinking water has been directed to residents and businesses affected by the accident, which is currently stationed at 3-A Kruty Uzviz. The duration of the restoration work depends on the extent of the damage and the speed of the pipeline repair.
