Drone Attack on Kyiv: Injuries and Destruction in the Darnytsia District

As a result of the nighttime drone attack on Kyiv, civilians were injured and infrastructure was damaged.

In the night leading to today, Russian occupation forces carried out yet another airstrike on Kyiv using strike drones. As a result, residents of the capital were affected, and damage was inflicted on residential buildings and civilian facilities.

Injured and Assistance to the Population

According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, the most casualties were recorded in the Darnytsia district. Eight people were injured there, including a two-year-old girl with cuts on her foot. All the injured are receiving necessary medical assistance.

“Regarding the situation at the attack site. Throughout the day, services and specialists from the Darnytsia District Administration will be working. The immediate primary assistance measures for people are coordinated by the district head, Oleksandr Kovtunov. The Kyiv police released photographs of the aftermath of the attack. In the Darnytsia district, the shockwave shattered windows of a multi-story residential building from the sixth to the eleventh floor. All the injured sustained shrapnel wounds and were urgently hospitalized.

Additionally, the explosions destroyed several cars that were in the yard near the damaged building. Investigative and operational police teams, along with explosives experts, are currently working at the sites where drone debris fell, documenting yet another war crime by the aggressor state.
