Arahamia’s Position on Personnel Decisions

During a comment on November 28, David Arahamia did not directly mention Andriy Yermak’s resignation, but emphasized that the presidential team supports Volodymyr Zelensky’s decision. According to Arahamia, it is currently important to maintain the internal stability of the state in order to have strong positions on the international stage. He also stressed that the faction is focused on defending the country and should not be distracted by other issues.

“We need to be strong within the country to have solid positions outside.”

Arahamia also noted: “It is also important for us that no one has any questions about Ukraine.”

Details of Yermak’s Resignation and Searches

On November 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Andriy Yermak had submitted his resignation as head of the President’s Office. The head of state thanked Yermak for his work in negotiations on behalf of Ukraine and emphasized that he seeks to avoid rumors and speculation surrounding this event.

At the same time, this resignation occurred after the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine confirmed the conduct of searches at Yermak’s residence. According to Yermak himself, he cooperated with law enforcement and provided full access to his home.

Additionally, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak (“Voice”) stated that in the audio recordings of NABU in the “Midas” case, the head of the President’s Office appears under the code name “Ali-Baba.” The head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Klymenko, confirmed the existence of such a figure and added that this person had given instructions to pursue NABU detectives and was likely involved in attempts to undermine the independence of the NBU and SAP in July 2025, which were thwarted by “cardboard protests.”

Former presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada and the Constitutional Court, MP Fedir Venislavsky (“Servant of the People”), also noted that the head of the President’s Office should resign, but the final decision rests with the president.

It is worth noting that on November 22, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Andriy Yermak as head of the Ukrainian delegation for negotiations with the USA, other international partners, and representatives of Russia to achieve peace.
