Combat ammunition for automatic weapons was discovered near the emergency entrance of the City Emergency Medical Hospital in the capital. The find was noticed by vigilant citizens who saw a suspicious object in a trash bin and immediately reported it to the hospital’s security guards.
Actions of Law Enforcement at the Scene
After receiving the information, the security personnel called a patrol police crew and an investigative team. The police thoroughly examined the scene and subsequently seized five rounds of combat ammunition for automatic weapons for examination and further investigation.

Other Cases of Illegal Ammunition Storage
It is worth noting that recently, officers from the criminal investigation department of the Darnytsia district police department discovered and seized over two hundred rounds of various calibers, as well as TNT, during a search of a 49-year-old resident of Kyiv. Such cases highlight the need for citizen vigilance and increased control over the circulation of weapons and ammunition in cities.
