The presentation of the new release occurred during Fancon 2025 — the largest youth festival in Ukraine, held at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv. One of the thematic locations of the festival was dedicated specifically to the legendary football club. The central event was the launch of the first realistic comic about the star player, titled “The Boy from the 130th Kilometer: The Hero’s Journey.”

Exclusive Opportunities for Fans

Festival attendees had a unique chance to be the first to purchase the exclusive comic directly during the event. Soon, the comic will also be available to the general public — it can be purchased at the Dynamo fan shop, as well as in other official club stores.

Strategy for Engaging a New Audience

“Both Dynamo and many other clubs face the challenge of finding new supporters, as the audience is aging and maturing, so we need to seek and engage teenagers, a new, younger audience that we must communicate with,” explained the General Director of FC Dynamo (Kyiv), Dmytro Brif.

The comic about Andriy Yarmolenko serves as a vivid example of modern approaches to promoting football among the youth. Thanks to its original format, the club hopes to attract new fans and sustain interest in the team among the younger generation.
