Entertainment Will Be Restricted and Flags Lowered in the Capital
According to the decision of the city authorities, all entertainment events will be prohibited in Kyiv on Friday, August 1. Residents are urged to refrain from organizing festive or entertainment activities throughout this day.
As a sign of mourning for those who died during the Russian attack, the state flag of Ukraine and the flag of Kyiv on the buildings of municipal enterprises, institutions, and organizations will be lowered and adorned with a black ribbon.
“As a sign of mourning, the State Flag of Ukraine and the Flag of the city of Kyiv will be lowered with a black ribbon on the buildings of municipal enterprises, institutions, and organizations,” the statement reads.
The City Authorities Have Addressed the Residents
The Kyiv City Military Administration has called on the residents of the capital to show solidarity with the families of the deceased and to adhere to the requirements of the Day of Mourning by refraining from any entertainment activities on August 1.
