The Best Works of Ukrainian Porcelain
The exhibition will feature nearly 200 unique items from the collection of the Baranivka Porcelain Factory—one of the oldest porcelain manufacturing enterprises in Ukraine. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a variety of samples of tea and coffee sets, tableware, vases, interior items, as well as small sculptural works created during the period from the 1950s to the 1960s.
These exhibits reflect the creativity of outstanding masters who worked at the factory during the peak of porcelain production in Ukraine. The pieces showcase the search for new design solutions and illustrate the renewal of decorative applied arts in the mid-20th century.
Artistic Heritage and Contemporary Interest
The exhibition introduces viewers to the works of sculptors and artists who laid the foundations for new directions in applied arts and established a distinctive school of Ukrainian porcelain. Recently, interest in the artistic legacy of the Baranivka Porcelain Factory artists has significantly increased among art historians, collectors, and the general public.
The organizers note that there has been an extraordinary interest in Ukraine from art historians, collectors, and the general public regarding the artistic heritage of the artists who worked and created at the Baranivka Porcelain Factory. Unfortunately, the enterprise ceased operations in 2010.
The exhibition will run from October 28 to January 24, 2026. Everyone interested will have the chance to explore unique samples of national porcelain and touch upon the history of Ukrainian art.
