Current Tariffs for Capital Residents
According to information from “Kyivteploenergo”, the cost of one gigacalorie of heat energy for Kyiv residents is 1654.41 UAH, and for one cubic meter of hot water, residents will have to pay 97.89 UAH. This tariff level will be in effect throughout the entire 2024-2025 heating season.
“Despite the rising costs of components, primarily natural gas, heating tariffs for Kyiv residents have remained unchanged for 6 years in a row. The cost of one gigacalorie of heat energy is 1654.41 UAH, and one cubic meter of hot water is 97.89 UAH,” the municipal enterprise stated.
Costs Depend on Consumption and Energy Efficiency
“Kyivteploenergo” emphasizes that over 90% of apartment buildings in Kyiv, where technical possibilities exist, are equipped with building meters. This allows residents to pay only for the actual heat consumed.
The cost of heating in each individual building depends on the external air temperature, the amount of energy consumed, and the level of implemented energy efficiency measures, including the ability to regulate the temperature in rooms. As a result, residents with meters can influence the amount of their heating charges.
