The press service of the investor of the DIM development group, Maxim Krippa, has released the results of an internal investigation initiated in early July regarding the company’s marketing director, Daria Bedya. As journalists have discovered, she was the one who contributed 44 million hryvnias as part of the bail for the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov, who is suspected of abuse of office and unlawful benefits.

DIM’s Position and Management Comments

According to the information provided by the press service, the DIM group of companies did not participate in the bail for Chernyshov, and employees and management were not informed about Daria Bedya’s actions. It is noted that the marketing director refused to explain her motives, and her actions were contradictory to corporate ethics and harmed the company’s reputation.

“The internal investigation established the following facts: the DIM group of companies did not participate in Daria Bedya’s actions regarding the bail for the NABU-suspected high-ranking official; no one in the team or management was informed about her actions; Daria Bedya refused to explain the purposes and motives of her actions, which clearly contradicted corporate ethics and harmed the company,” the press service of Krippa reported.

The company added that at this time, the restoration of cooperation with Daria Bedya is not being considered. According to Oleksandr Nasikovskyi, managing partner of DIM, he learned about the bail only from the media. He emphasized that he is not acquainted with Chernyshov and was not involved in these actions. Nasikovskyi also clarified that Daria Bedya independently decided to resign, stating that her last working day is this Friday.

Circumstances of the Bail and Other Participants

The investigation established that Daria Bedya was the one who contributed the 44 million hryvnias bail for Oleksiy Chernyshov. The largest portion, 66 million hryvnias, was paid by the company “Foravto Tor” from Dnipro, registered in April 2025, which specializes in wholesale trade of auto parts. The director and owner of the company is Eduard Martynenko, who also heads “Custombud,” a firm founded in June 2025 specializing in the construction of residential and non-residential facilities. However, Martynenko stated that he is hearing for the first time about his company’s bail for Chernyshov.

The remaining amount, over 10 million hryvnias, was contributed by Chernyshov’s wife, Svitlana, as confirmed by the data from the 2024 declaration. In total, a bail of over 120 million hryvnias was posted for the minister. Chernyshov had previously stated that his accounts were blocked, and therefore he was forced to raise funds for the bail. The defense has filed an appeal against the court’s decision regarding the bail amount.

On June 23, NABU and SAP reported suspicions against Oleksiy Chernyshov, who is currently the Deputy Prime Minister and previously headed the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine. He is suspected of abusing power and receiving unlawful benefits on a particularly large scale for himself and third parties.

According to the investigation, it concerns the possible illegal allocation of land in Kyiv for the construction of a residential complex at an undervalued price, accompanied by receiving discounts on apartments for the minister and individuals designated by him. Chernyshov has become the sixth figure in the case of a large-scale corruption scheme in the construction sector involving top officials. However, he considers the suspicion unfounded and has no intention of resigning.
