The situation surrounding the communication about the activities of the Kyiv City Military Administration has escalated due to the actions of certain officials from the Kyiv City State Administration.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported that certain representatives of the Kyiv City State Administration refuse to use the official internet resources of the KCSA to publish materials about the work of the KMA. He made this statement at a briefing in Kyiv on July 15.
“The KCSA apparatus ignores any press releases from the KMA and refuses to publish them on the official websites of the administration or on Telegram channels. This is absurd,” said the head of the KMA.
Information Blockade and Political Subtext
According to Timur Tkachенко, unreliable data sometimes appears on the official resources of the KCSA, which can discredit the activities of the military administration. In particular, information is being circulated about an alleged intentional delay or refusal to sign important documents by the leadership of the KMA.
Tkachенко emphasized that these actions have a political nature and are aimed at creating a negative image of the military administration in society. He also noted that such information attacks from the city authorities have become regular.
Existence of Cooperation Between KMA and KCSA
Despite the tension, the head of the KMA refuted rumors about the lack of interaction between the military and city administrations. According to him, cooperation occurs primarily at the level of deputy heads of the KCSA, departments, and administrations.
He noted that during the war, any attempts to discredit government bodies harm not only the authority of the KMA but also the entire management vertical in the state.
