Seven candidates participated in the competition for the position of president of the Kyiv Aviation Institute.

The procedure for electing a new president has concluded at the state university “Kyiv Aviation Institute.” Following the selection process, the leadership of the institution is now headed by Ksenia Semenova, a lecturer at KAI and a member of the Kyiv City Council.
How the Competition for the KAI Presidency Unfolded
The selection was competitive: eight candidates submitted their documents for the competition, but only seven of them directly participated in the interviews within the institute’s walls. The discussions regarding the candidates were marked by complexity and lively debates among the members of the supervisory board.
“Eight candidates applied for the competition, of which seven were present at KAI for the interview. The discussions were challenging, but the supervisory board made a decision – Ksenia Semenova has been elected as the new president of KAI,” he wrote.

Ksenia Semenova, who has experience working as a lecturer at the institute, has been performing the duties of rector since April 2024. Her election as president of KAI has confirmed the trust of her colleagues and the members of the supervisory board in Semenova’s professional and managerial qualities.
