As a result of the traffic accident in the center of Kyiv, a woman was injured.
In the evening, an accident occurred on Saksahanskoho Street involving a Mercedes passenger car. According to preliminary data, the female driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the roadway, and drove onto the sidewalk, where she crashed into the outdoor terrace of a café. At the time of the collision, there were people on the terrace.
Circumstances of the accident and the condition of the injured
As a result of the incident, a 28-year-old woman who was relaxing on the terrace sustained injuries. Medical personnel promptly hospitalized the injured woman to the hospital for necessary assistance. According to law enforcement information, the driver of the Mercedes was distracted while driving when her mobile phone fell to the floor, and during her attempt to pick it up, she was unable to react in time, resulting in her driving onto the sidewalk.
“The car accident occurred today at approximately 19:25. It has been established that the driver of the Mercedes lost control and drove off the roadway onto the sidewalk, injuring a woman who was on the outdoor terrace of one of the dining establishments,” the report states.
