Kyiv continues to hold the top position among Ukrainian cities in terms of the number of tourists and the amount of tourist tax collected. Since the beginning of the year, the capital has contributed one-fifth of the total amount of this tax nationwide, which amounts to 51 million hryvnias.

Regional Leaders in Tourism Revenue
In second place in the ranking is the Lviv region, with a figure of 42.5 million hryvnias, while the third position is held by Ivano-Frankivsk, where the tourist tax revenue reached 32.5 million hryvnias.
The Contribution of Large Businesses to the Tourist Tax
More than half of the revenue — 53%, or 125.2 million hryvnias — was provided by hotels, sanatoriums, and recreation centers. The remaining portion of the tax was paid by owners of apartments, estates, and small tourist facilities.

Overall, in the first nine months of the current year, local budgets received 234.4 million hryvnias in tourist tax, indicating a growing interest in traveling within Ukraine.
