In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a 24-year-old man who attempted to steal goods from a local supermarket. When he was stopped by a guard, the perpetrator pulled out a gun and threatened to use it, after which he left the store with the stolen items.

According to police information, the incident occurred in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. The man decided not to pay for the goods and tried to exit the sales area. He was detained by a security guard who demanded payment. In response, the perpetrator threatened the guard with a gun and left the premises with the merchandise.

Arrest and responsibility of the suspect
Operative officers quickly identified the attacker and apprehended him. It turned out that he was a local resident with a previous conviction for robbery. Law enforcement officials informed the detainee of his suspicion of committing a robbery. According to the law, this crime carries a penalty of up to fifteen years in prison.
