A Public Report on the Progress of Restoration is Planned
The department noted that given the significant public interest in this project, a public presentation of the restoration process and key stages of the work will be organized. This step aims to ensure maximum transparency and clarity for the public regarding the changes to the cultural heritage site.
“Considering the public interest, we agreed on the necessity of a public presentation of the restoration process and its key stages to ensure maximum openness and understanding of what is happening with the monument,” promised representatives of the city hall.
The Original Function of the Mezzanine Will Be Preserved
Additionally, the department noted that during the reconstruction, the original purpose of the mezzanine of the ‘Flying Saucer’ will be preserved. According to the author’s concept, it is intended to serve as a cinema-lecture hall and conference room. This decision emphasizes the importance of maintaining the historical context of the building and its role in the cultural life of the city.
