Developer and Subsequent Court Actions
According to activists, the developer — LLC “Dnipro-2002” — has been conducting intensive earthworks on the territory of the estate of Iosif Nosach, built in 1899, over the past week. Workers are already digging a foundation pit, constructing a retaining wall, and pouring foundations for future commercial-office and entertainment centers. As a result of these actions, the wing at Kyrylivska Street, 13d has been destroyed, and the police station, which was built in 1902, has also been dismantled.
Furthermore, it is expected that on Tuesday, December 16, the Podil District Court of Kyiv will review the case materials regarding the imposition of a ban on the land plots where illegal construction is taking place. The court plans to make a decision to completely prohibit any construction work in this area.
