A significant water main break occurred in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, leading to serious flooding of the roadway on Verkhovna Rada Boulevard.

Road Flooding Due to the Incident
The incident took place on one of the key transport arteries of the district — on Verkhovna Rada Boulevard. Due to the break in a pipe with a diameter of 600 mm, substantial water flows formed on the roads, complicating vehicle movement. Videos and photos have appeared on social media showing cars literally “floating” in the water that has flooded the roadway.
Emergency Services Response and Transport Situation
An emergency crew from “Kyivvodokanal” is working promptly at the scene, along with specialists from the Dnipro district road maintenance service. According to the city administration, despite the extensive consequences of the incident, the city’s public transport continues to operate as usual, with no delays reported.
“An emergency crew from ‘Kyivvodokanal’ and specialists from the Dnipro district road maintenance service are already on site. Public transport is running without changes,” the statement reads.
As a result of the incident, residents of the area are advised to exercise caution when moving in the flooded zone and to plan their routes considering possible road complications.
