A large-scale rally is taking place near the building of the Kyiv City State Administration, where participants express their outrage over corruption schemes within the city’s power structures. People are demanding the immediate resignation of the leadership and deputies of the Kyiv City Council, who, according to them, are involved in the corrupt machinations currently being investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

Statement of Demands and Symbolism of the Protest
The main point of their demands is the resignation of the head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko. Participants of the rally are holding placards with slogans: «Kyiv Without Klitschko», «Get the Construction Mafia Out», «We See Everything, We Will Not Forgive». According to reports, the rally is taking place under the banner of fighting corruption and cleansing the city government.

Activism and Symbolic Actions
Among the participants of the protest was Kyiv writer Annabella Morina, who symbolically called for the eradication of corruption from the Kyiv City Council using a broom, comparing this struggle to the cleansing on Holy Thursday. She emphasized the importance of fighting corruption and the necessity for changes in the city government.
