According to the latest report from the Kyiv City Center for Disease Control and Prevention, published on August 8, the safe beaches include “Veselka,” “Zoloty,” “Telbin,” “Venice,” “Dytyachyi,” and “Molodizhnyi.” It is at these locations that the water meets established sanitary requirements, allowing for safe leisure time by the water.

Beaches with Deviations from Sanitary Standards

In contrast, at the beaches “Halerna,” “Troieshchyna,” “Peredmistna Slobidka,” “Verbne,” “Ostriv Obolon,” “Chortoryi,” “Raidooha,” “Tsentralnyi,” and “Pusha-Vodytsia,” exceedances of permissible indicators have been detected, posing a potential health risk to vacationers. It is particularly emphasized that swimming at the beaches “Troieshchyna,” “Ostriv Obolon,” and “Pusha-Vodytsia” is categorically not recommended.

“Attention! Swimming at beaches with inadequate water quality may be hazardous to health!” – warn specialists from the Kyiv City Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

City services urge residents of Kyiv to closely monitor updates regarding the water conditions at the beaches and to choose for recreation only those places where the water has been deemed safe based on laboratory research results.
