Operational Situation at the Front: Enemy Reduces Number of Attacks in Key Areas

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released new data on the situation at the front lines.

In the past 24 hours, 160 combat engagements have been recorded at the front, with the most confrontations occurring in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions. The Ukrainian defense forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy, eliminating nearly 940 Russian soldiers, destroying two armored fighting vehicles, 43 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, one aircraft, 415 operational-tactical level drones, as well as 122 units of automotive and special equipment and fuel tankers.

Details of Combat Actions in Key Areas

“The enemy launched four missile strikes and 68 air strikes, used six missiles, and dropped 136 guided bombs. In addition, they carried out 5082 shellings, including 115 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 5846 kamikaze drones for attacks,” the General Staff reported.

Military reports indicate that in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units successfully repelled six enemy attacks. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk twice.

The Kupiansk direction saw six combat engagements, while in the Lyman direction, occupation forces made 25 attempts to advance. In the Siversky direction, Russian troops attempted to breach the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine seven times. Four attacks were recorded in the Kramatorsk area, and ten attempts by the enemy to advance were noted in the Toretsk area.

Situation in Other Directions

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 49 assaults near 11 populated areas. The Novopavlivka direction experienced 13 attacks from the enemy. In the Hulyaipole direction, defense forces repelled four attempts by enemy units to advance.

In the Orikhiv direction, our military halted an attack by occupation forces, while in the Dnipro direction, the enemy attempted to advance three times, but all attempts were unsuccessful.
