Roadworks are ongoing in Kyiv: the repair of asphalt pavement and the installation of new information boards will temporarily affect traffic in several areas of the capital.

According to updated information, during the holiday period from Saturday to Monday, partial traffic restrictions are expected on Solomianska Street. The restrictions will be in effect from 5:00 PM on August 23 to 5:00 AM on August 24, as well as from 5:00 PM on August 24 to 5:00 AM on August 25. During this time, road workers will be laying the top layer of asphalt, which will help improve the condition of the roadway.
Details of Restrictions on Key Streets in Kyiv
“In particular, traffic will be restricted on the section from Protasovyi Yar to Roman Ratushnyi Street. Road workers will be installing the top layer of asphalt pavement,” the message states.
In addition to Solomianska Street, restrictions will also affect Vysokyi Val and Nyzhnii Val. On August 23 and 24, the relevant services will partially close these streets due to repair work and the updating of road infrastructure.
Temporary Restrictions on Stepan Bandera Avenue
On the night of August 22 to 23, temporary traffic restrictions are planned on Stepan Bandera Avenue near the Blockbuster Mall (building 36). Municipal workers will be installing modern variable information road signs using special equipment.
The detailed schedule of restrictions on Stepan Bandera Avenue is as follows:
- From 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM – the far right lane towards the Northern Bridge will be closed.
- From 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM – restrictions will be in effect towards Olena Teliha Street.
Residents of Kyiv and visitors to the city are asked to take these changes into account when planning their routes to avoid traffic jams and unforeseen delays on the road.
