In the residential area of Troieshchyna, located in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv, roadworks have commenced, leading to temporary restrictions for pedestrians at the overpass over Roman Shukhevych Avenue.

The restrictions will last until the end of the year

According to official information, the restrictions will be in effect from August 29 and will last until nearly the end of 2025. Pedestrian movement will be partially restricted at the overpass that crosses Roman Shukhevych Avenue at the intersection with Kybaltchych Street and Mykola Zakrevskyi Street.

“From August 29 to December 20, tram traffic will be partially restricted at the overpass over Roman Shukhevych Avenue at the intersection with Kybaltchych and Mykola Zakrevskyi Streets,” the message states.

Reasons for the works

As noted by the municipal services, repair teams will carry out emergency measures to restore the overpass structures. These works are intended to ensure traffic safety and the continued operation of the facility.

Residents and visitors to the area are asked to take these restrictions into account when planning their routes and to use alternative paths during the repair works.
