An investigation is underway in Kyiv into a fatal traffic accident that resulted in the death of a police officer.

The tragic incident occurred around 9:10 at the intersection of Ivan Fedorov and Kazimir Malevich streets. Preliminary reports indicate that a Renault passenger car collided with a police Mitsubishi vehicle that was responding with its lights activated.
Consequences of the Accident and Condition of the Injured
As a result of the collision, the driver of the police vehicle died at the scene. Three other individuals sustained injuries; their condition is assessed by medical personnel as stable.
