From the evening of October 31 until the end of Sunday, traffic on the Northern Bridge in the capital will be significantly complicated due to ongoing repair work.
Duration and Features of Traffic Restrictions
“From 10:00 PM on October 31 to 11:00 PM on November 2, traffic on the Northern Bridge over the Dnipro River will be partially restricted,” the message states.
According to representatives of the road services, during this period, the road workers of KP “Kyivavtoshlyakhmist” will be repairing the structures of the expansion joint on the section of the bridge leading from the left bank to the right bank of the Dnipro.
Which Traffic Lanes Will Be Closed
The repairs will involve partial closure of the second and third traffic lanes. At the same time, the first and fourth lanes will remain open for vehicles, which will help avoid a complete blockage of traffic.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and, if possible, use alternative routes to cross the Dnipro to avoid traffic jams and delays.
