According to municipal services, restoration work on the ceiling of one of the central passages is being carried out by teams from the Shevchenkivskyi District Road Maintenance Department. At the same time, the passage will remain partially open for movement, but with certain restrictions that will be in place until the repairs are completed.
“As of December 25, pedestrian traffic in the underground passage at Independence Square will be partially restricted,” the announcement states.
