A large-scale road surface repair has begun in the capital

In the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv, from August 25 until the end of October, traffic on Mykola Lavrukhin Street will be partially restricted. The reason for the temporary inconveniences is the ongoing repair work being carried out by the city’s utility services.

According to the municipal corporation “Kyivavtodor,” the work on updating the asphalt surface will last for several months. Representatives of the road services emphasize that the repairs will be conducted in stages, so a complete closure of the road is not expected. Drivers are asked to be attentive, heed traffic signs, and choose alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Repair crews will be working on the busiest sections of the street, which may lead to delays in both public and private transport. The city authorities urge drivers to plan their routes considering the temporary restrictions and, if possible, use detour roads.
“From August 25 to October 30, traffic will be partially restricted on Mykola Lavrukhin Street,” the statement reads.
The renewal of the road surface will enhance comfort and safety for all road users once the work is completed.
