Major roadworks have begun on Yuri Illienko Street in the Shevchenkivskyi District of Kyiv.
This is reported by Kyiv24
Starting today and continuing until the end of the second decade of October, traffic will be partially restricted on this busy transport artery. The reason for the restrictions is the scheduled repair of the road surface, which is expected to enhance safety and comfort for both drivers and pedestrians.
Which Sections Will Be Affected by the Repairs
The repair work will take place on the section of Yuri Illienko Street — from Haret Jones Street to building No. 50-A on Yuri Illienko Street. On this section, road services will gradually update the surface, which will periodically complicate traffic flow.
“From September 30 to October 19, traffic will be partially restricted on Yuri Illienko Street in the Shevchenkivskyi District of the capital,” the announcement states.
What Drivers Should Consider
During the roadworks, car owners and public transport users are advised to anticipate possible delays and plan alternative routes. Municipal services ask residents and visitors to the city to be understanding of the temporary inconveniences, as the road surface upgrade will contribute to the improvement of the district’s infrastructure.
