These monthly payments will continue until the housing is restored or a state certificate of “eRecovery” is obtained, but not for more than 12 months. The city authorities assure that this period is sufficient to complete repairs or restore the damaged buildings.
The relevant decision was made on May 15, when the Kyiv City Council amended the city target program “Care. Towards Kyiv residents” for 2025–2027. According to representatives of the city administration, there is no need to contact the Department of Social and Veteran Policy to receive assistance. Payments will be made based on lists that will be formed by the district administrations of the city, and these lists will be published after the relevant procedure is approved.
“To receive funds, it is not necessary to submit applications to the Department of Social and Veteran Policy – the lists will be provided by the district state administrations in Kyiv. Payments will begin after the relevant procedure is approved, and further information will be provided,” the KMDA reported.
