Russia accuses ‘terrorists’ of destroying bridges in Bryansk and Kursk regions

РФ звинувачує в підривах мостів у двох областях «терористів, які діяли за вказівкою київського режиму»

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has officially classified the collapse of two bridges that occurred in the Bryansk and Kursk regions on the night of May 31 to June 1 as terrorist acts. The agency claims that the actions were organized by “terrorists under the direction of the Kyiv regime,” emphasizing the intent and scale of the planning behind the incidents.

Official position of the investigative authorities of the Russian Federation

According to the representative of the Investigative Committee, Svitlana Petrenko, “parts of explosive devices and other physical evidence” were found at the sites of the collapses. She also stated:

“It is evident that the terrorists, acting under the direction of the Kyiv regime, planned everything with maximum precision so that hundreds of innocent civilians would be caught in their strikes.”

It is worth noting that immediately after the events, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the “explosion” of the bridges, but later in public statements, the wording was changed to “collapse of the structures.”
