Russian special services may organize provocations disguised as protests in Kyiv

The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, warned that Russian special services are attempting to destabilize the situation in the country by organizing provocative actions under the guise of “peaceful protests.”

Possible locations for provocations

According to available information, the preparation for such protest actions may take place in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv. The enemy’s goal is to create tension and enhance emotional influence on society through manipulation.

Attempts at manipulation and destabilization

Dmytro Lubinets emphasizes that Russia seeks to exploit the vulnerability of Ukrainian society, primarily involving women – especially mothers of servicemen who are in captivity or considered missing. Thus, the organizers expect that this category of people will create the appropriate emotional atmosphere, which will receive widespread media attention and may provoke a public response.

According to the plan of the Russian Federation, such actions are intended to become a tool for destabilizing the internal political situation in Ukraine, as well as to exert pressure on the Ukrainian military-political leadership, especially during active negotiations between Ukraine and the United States regarding the terms of ending the war.

“We must clearly understand: Russia will continue to try to strike at the most sensitive points – trust, unity, the families of our defenders. That is why it is important to remain vigilant and not allow the enemy to use human tragedy as a tool of information warfare against Ukraine,” notes Dmytro Lubinets.
