Large-scale rescue operations are ongoing in Kyiv following the nighttime shelling by Russian troops. As of now, efforts to mitigate the impact of the strike are actively underway in the Desnyansky and Dnipro districts of the capital, where at least seven people have died.

Operational Situation in Affected Areas
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES) continue to clear the debris of damaged buildings. A total of 95 specialists and 26 units of equipment, including heavy engineering machinery, have been deployed to address the aftermath. In the Dnipro district, where a residential high-rise was particularly affected, SES psychologists are providing assistance to residents, having already helped 140 individuals.

Rescue operations are ongoing – SES workers are clearing debris in the damaged buildings while continuing the search for individuals who may be trapped under the rubble.
Civilian Casualties
The head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, reported an increase in the number of casualties: the body of another deceased man was recovered from the ruins in the Dnipro district, bringing the total number of fatalities to seven.
“In the Dnipro district, the body of a deceased man was recovered from the rubble,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Kyiv City Military Administration also reported at least 14 injured, with eight individuals hospitalized. Among the victims is a seven-year-old boy.
Additionally, numerous reports of damage to buildings, falling debris, and citizen inquiries have been recorded from at least 13 different locations in the Darnytskyi, Dnipro, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Desnyanskyi districts of the capital.



The situation remains tense, and residents of Kyiv are urged to adhere to safety regulations and respond to alerts from rescue services.
