The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a significant escalation of hostilities on the front over the past day.

Increase in Attacks and Enemy Losses
In the last 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders recorded over 170 combat encounters. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions. As a result of the active actions of the Defense Forces, nearly 1,220 occupiers were eliminated, along with 6 tanks, 7 armored fighting vehicles, 24 artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers, as well as 147 operational-tactical level drones. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed 93 units of automotive and special equipment, including fuel tankers. The total number of enemy aircraft shot down has now reached 420 units.
“The enemy carried out 65 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 113 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they conducted 5,826 shellings, including 96 from multiple rocket launchers, and deployed 3,004 kamikaze drones,” the General Staff reported.
Situation on Various Front Directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were 22 combat encounters over the day, while in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops 12 times.
In the Kupiansk direction, nine attacks by occupation forces were recorded, in the Lyman direction, there were 19 attempts to break through, and in the Siversky direction, our defenders stopped 11 enemy attacks. In the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor attempted to breach the defense four times, while in the Toretsk direction, they conducted nine attacks.
It is also noted that in the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 56 enemy assaults in the areas of 11 populated points, while in the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy conducted 20 attacks. In the Huliaipole direction, two attacks were repelled, and in the Orikhiv direction, there was one assault encounter. In the Dnipro direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Ukrainian forces continue to hold the defense across all directions, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in equipment and personnel.
