More than 400 participants from 13 regions of Ukraine took part in the competition, including athletes of various ages and experiences. This championship became an important event to honor the memory of the hero, as well as a confirmation of Ukrainians’ readiness to remember their fallen not only in words but also in deeds.
Memories of the Hero
Ihor Voievodin was a volunteer who, from the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia, stood up to defend his homeland. As part of the armed forces, he served as a sniper and honorably completed his combat path. Unfortunately, on August 19, 2023, Ihor was killed near Kreminna in Luhansk region, leaving behind only 20 years of life.
Celebrating Courage and Patriotism
This tournament became a symbol of unity and patriotism of the Ukrainian people, who honor their heroes and are ready to support each other in difficult times.
