In June, large-scale restoration work will begin at the National Children’s Specialized Hospital ‘Okhmatdyt’, which was damaged as a result of a missile strike by the Russian Federation in 2024. The hospital administration has already signed all necessary agreements to start construction work.

Details of the signed contracts and contractors
The restoration of the building will be carried out by the company LLC ‘Riola-Module Ltd’, which won the tender procedures. A contract has also been signed with the company ‘Akadem Bud’, which will provide technical supervision of the work. The project will be financed from funds raised last year by the charity fund ‘Okhmatdyt – Healthy Childhood’.
The total cost of the restoration work will amount to 293 million hryvnias, and technical supervision will cost nearly two million hryvnias more.
As noted at ‘Okhmatdyt’, ‘Riola-Module Ltd’ has experience in the design, construction, and reconstruction of medical facilities. This company completed the construction of a new clinic building in 2020.
Quality control of the restoration
The responsibility for the author’s supervision of the restoration lies with the firm ‘Arkon’, which developed the project documentation for the capital repairs. With the involvement of experienced contractors and proper oversight, an effective and high-quality restoration of this important medical facility for the entire country is expected.
