The exhibition ‘Bridges of Art: An Exhibition Dialogue’ has opened in Kyiv, telling the story of the pain and tragedy experienced in Mariupol and Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation.
Connecting Communities Through Art
The initiators of this artistic project are Kyiv Children’s Art School No. 3, a Mariupol artist from the Kuindzhi School, and the author play theater ‘Conception’ from Mariupol. Their joint exhibition has become a platform for dialogue between the two cities, united by a shared tragedy and the desire to preserve hope and dignity through creativity.
“The creative works showcase the common bond of kindred cities, the feeling of pain and tragedy since the full-scale invasion. The pieces were created by two artists from the school, two communities united by a common goal – to preserve and convey through art the strength, dignity, and faith.”
The exhibition features works created by two artists and two communities, who strive to convey the strength of spirit and faith in the future through art.
A Dialogue Between the Past and Present
Visitors to the exhibition can experience a vibrant dialogue between communities, the past and present, between those who preserve memory and those who continue traditions. The exhibition was first presented at Kyiv Children’s Art School No. 3, where residents of the Desnyansky district of the capital viewed it.

Currently, the exhibition can be visited at the Humanitarian Support Center ‘I am Mariupol’ located at: 9 Yakov Hnizdovsky Street. The exhibition remains a symbol of unity, shared memory, and the resilience of Ukrainians in difficult times.
