The Fomin Botanical Garden in Kyiv has kicked off the magnolia blooming season. The first white magnolias have already blossomed, and they can be seen throughout the garden.

This is reported by Kyiv24

Typically, the full blooming season for magnolias starts in April and lasts until mid-May. However, this year, the first flowers appeared earlier than usual. The pink and red varieties of magnolias usually bloom about a week to a week and a half after the white ones, so the opportunity to enjoy their beauty is just around the corner.

History of the Magnolia Garden

The Magnolia Garden in the Fomin Botanical Garden was established in 1976. It covers an area of about two hectares, home to over 150 trees. This is one of the largest collections of magnolias in Ukraine and Europe, represented by approximately 65 species.
