These historical figures, symbolizing the founders of Kyiv — the Kyiv prince Kyi, his brothers Shchek and Khoriv, as well as their sister Lybid, have received special decorations that highlight the festive atmosphere.

The sculptor Volodymyr Zhuravel has shown in his social media posts how this cultural monument looks today. According to him, all the figures have received angel wings and halos, creating an impression of a festive and spiritual atmosphere.
“Kyi, Shchek, and Khoriv have received angel wings and halos, while their sister Lybid is dressed in traditional Ukrainian attire and holds an Easter basket.”
Additionally, Lybid was dressed in traditional Ukrainian clothing and held an Easter basket, enhancing the festive atmosphere and symbolizing the folk traditions of celebrating the Resurrection of Christ.
