In addition, the sanctions list now includes companies from China, India, Turkey, and Thailand that cooperate with Russia. The list has also been expanded to include individuals, notably the co-owners of the Chinese company Shenzhen Blue Hat International Trade – Russian citizens Alexei and Elena Malitsky, as well as Azerbaijani citizen Shanlik Shukurov, who is linked to the Turkish company Mastel Makina.

Particular attention has been given to 70 vessels of the Russian Federation’s “shadow fleet”, including the tankers GAZPROMNEFT NORDEAST and GAZPROMNEFT ZUID EAST, which belong to the structure of “Gazpromneft”.

Visit of the UK Foreign Secretary to Kyiv

Alongside the announcement of sanctions, newly appointed UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper arrived in Kyiv for an official visit. She shared photos with her Ukrainian colleagues – Andriy Sibiga and Andriy Yermak. During the negotiations, discussions are planned on strengthening transatlantic pressure on Russia and expanding defense cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

“The UK’s support for Ukraine is unwavering. I am pleased to be in Kyiv during my first visit as Foreign Secretary,” she stated.

Andriy Sibiga emphasized that Yvette Cooper’s visit is an important event for strengthening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. It is worth noting that Yvette Cooper took over the Foreign Office following personnel decisions made by the British government on September 5.
