In Kyiv, a man, a Turkish citizen, came to the attention of the police after a conflict with his ex-partner. A quarrel arose between them due to jealousy, during which the foreigner set fire to the apartment rented by the woman and also stole her laptop. Following these events, law enforcement arrested the man and seized his mobile phones.
Discovery of Video and Announcement of Charges
During the examination of one of the mobile devices belonging to the detainee, investigators discovered a video recording in which the man appears with a minor boy. The video captured acts of sexual violence against the child. The investigation established that the victim is the 10-year-old son of the woman with whom the suspect had previously been in a relationship. It is noted that the foreigner filmed his criminal actions himself.
As a result, the detainee was informed of suspicion not only for arson and theft of his ex-partner’s belongings but also for sexual abuse of a child. The perpetrator has been placed in custody without the possibility of bail.
The suspect is currently in custody without the right to bail. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement continues to gather evidence in the case.
