Operational Situation on the Front: Over 230 Combat Engagements in One Day

In the past day, 235 combat engagements were recorded on the front, with the most intense areas being in the Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, and Kostiantynivka directions. Ukrainian forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy, destroying nearly 1130 invaders, two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, 11 artillery systems and multiple launch rocket systems, 116 operational-tactical drones, as well as 69 units of automotive equipment.
Massive Airstrikes and Use of Kamikaze Drones
“The enemy launched 70 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 166 guided bombs. In addition, they conducted 3609 shellings, of which 94 were from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 2833 kamikaze drones for strikes,” the General Staff reported.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were nine combat engagements throughout the day. In the South Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian forces 13 times, and in the Kupiansk direction — six times. The Lyman direction faced 14 enemy attacks.
Highest Enemy Losses in the Pokrovsk Direction
In the Sloviansk direction, 12 attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded. The Kramatorsk direction was the site of three attacks by the occupiers. In the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks.
The Pokrovsk direction remained one of the hottest spots — our defenders halted 72 enemy advances near 11 populated areas. In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 assaults. The Huliaipole direction was the arena for 17 battles, while in the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defense three times, but unsuccessfully. In the Dnipro direction, Russian forces made five unsuccessful attempts to approach Ukrainian positions.
The current situation indicates that the Russian Federation continues to actively employ aviation, rocket artillery, and kamikaze drones to achieve tactical advantages, however, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reliably maintain their defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy.
