President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that warnings about a possible massive missile strike from the Russian Federation remain in effect. According to him, the enemy has already prepared the corresponding scenario, and the Ukrainian air defense forces are in constant combat readiness, considering the available resources.

“The intelligence warnings regarding Russian strikes remain valid. A massive strike may happen – they have prepared it. Our defenders of the sky are ready 24/7 as much as possible with the available supplies,” he said in his video address.
Psychological pressure as a tactic of the enemy
During the forum “Security Architecture 2026,” Deputy Head of the Coordination Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners of War Andriy Yusov stated that the demonstration by the Russian Federation of its readiness for massive attacks, followed by an announcement of a ceasefire, is part of the psychological influence on Ukraine. He emphasized that this tactic combines military and psychological pressure on Ukrainian society.
Recently, the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Yuri Ushakov, stated that Russia had not carried out strikes on Kyiv during the so-called “Trinity ceasefire.” According to him, this only applies to long-range attacks, while the ceasefire does not apply on the front line.
Threats to decision-making centers
On May 25, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation announced its intentions to attack “decision-making centers and command posts” in Kyiv. The ministry also urged foreign citizens, including employees of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations, to leave the capital of Ukraine as soon as possible.
In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that the level of threats from the Russian Federation to Kyiv and other cities remains unchanged compared to previous months and years. The Ukrainian side emphasized that the new statements from Russia are yet another manifestation of shameless blackmail.
On May 29, Volodymyr Zelensky, relying on data from Ukrainian intelligence, once again confirmed that Russia is preparing a new massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, urging citizens not to ignore warnings about the danger.
