Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybyha will travel to an important diplomatic event in Brussels, where the meeting of the heads of foreign ministries of European Union countries will take place. According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, Sybyha will inform his European colleagues about the current situation on the front and the dynamics of peace efforts following meetings in Turkey and contacts with the United States, EU countries, Ukraine, and Russia. The head of the Ukrainian diplomatic office will emphasize the importance of continued pressure on the Russian aggressor and the necessity of strengthening support for Ukraine to achieve a just and sustainable peace.

The European Council has also announced the holding of a concluding meeting of the Foreign Ministers’ Council on May 20, chaired by EU High Representative Kaia Kallas. Prior to this, meetings of the defense ministers of the bloc countries are scheduled, in which Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will also participate. This will be another step in forming a common EU position on supporting Ukraine and enhancing Euro-Atlantic security.
