A ceremonial cancellation of the new postage stamp “Light of Nicholas” took place at the Main Post Office in the capital, dedicated to St. Nicholas Day. The event occurred on December 6 at the Christmas postal residence located in the main building of the country’s post office.
New Stamp: A Symbol of Faith in Miracles
“Ukrposhta” presented a stamp featuring St. Nicholas, whom Ukrainian children regard as the main hero of the winter holidays. Representatives of the national postal operator emphasized that this stamp is a “small symbol of the great miracles that Ukrainians create for one another every day.”

Special Attention to Children in Need of Support
Children under the care of the “Voices of Children” foundation were invited to the stamp cancellation ceremony. Among them were those who have faced difficult circumstances: children from frontline and temporarily occupied territories, as well as children of defenders of Ukraine.
“Children under the care of the ‘Voices of Children’ foundation were invited to the cancellation ceremony – those who have endured more than one childhood should bear. Children who have relocated from frontline or temporarily occupied territories, and those whose parents are Heroes. We really wanted to give them a day filled with more warmth than worries,” noted the press service of the national postal operator.
The stamp sheet “Light of Nicholas,” which contains nine stamps, as well as an artistic envelope and card, is already available for purchase on the special website postmark.ukrposhta.ua.
