In Ukraine, on December 7, restrictions on electricity consumption will be intensified due to the consequences of attacks by the Russian Federation on the energy infrastructure.
This is reported by Kyiv24
On Sunday, December 7, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect across all regions of the country. These measures are being implemented in response to massive missile and drone attacks from Russia, which have caused damage to energy facilities.
“The reason for the introduction of restrictions is the consequences of the massive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities,” reported NEC Ukrenergo.
Procedure for Implementing Restrictions
Hourly outage schedules will be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59, covering 3 to 4 groups of consumers. This means that residents of different regions may experience interruptions in electricity supply during the specified time periods. At the same time, power limitation schedules have been established for industrial consumers, which will also be in effect throughout the day.
Possible Changes to Schedules and Advice for Citizens
Energy workers emphasize that the timing and extent of outages may be adjusted depending on the operational situation. Citizens are advised to monitor updates on the official resources of the regional energy companies for current information regarding outages in their area.
“The timing and extent of the restrictions may change. Keep an eye on the information on the official pages of the regional energy companies in your area,” warns Ukrenergo.
