Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the introduction of additional coaches on the popular route between Kyiv and Lviv, due to an increase in demand for rail transport during the summer season.
Details of Additional Coaches
The additional coaches will be included in the composition of two transit trains that pass through Kyiv and Lviv:
- Train No. 79/80 “Sicheslav” Dnipro — Lviv: departs from Kyiv at 06:08, arrives in Lviv at 13:01; in the opposite direction, departs from Lviv at 14:50, arrives in Kyiv at 21:49.
- Train No. 749/750 Kyiv — Chop: departs from Kyiv at 13:19, arrives in Lviv at 19:43; departs from Lviv at 10:19, arrives in Kyiv at 16:41.
Features of the Additional Coaches
“The route will feature first-class branded coaches, including category SV (if necessary on specific dates) and compartments. All coaches are equipped with air conditioning. Please note that the compartment coaches will operate in seating mode, meaning sleeping arrangements in the compartment category coaches are not provided,” said UZ.
