The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine held a meeting during which a decision was made to elect a new head of the court. As a result of the voting, Ihor Leonidovych Strohiy was appointed as the new head of the court. This decision was made at the meeting on March 25, 2026.

Changes in VAKS Leadership
In addition to the new head, the judges also decided on the deputy head of the court. This position was taken by Dmytro Mykhailenko. The election of the new leadership took place in accordance with current legislation and the internal procedures of the court.
“According to the decision of the judges’ meeting of the High Anti-Corruption Court on March 25, 2026, Ihor Leonidovych Strohiy was elected as the new Head of the Court,” the statement reads.
Term of Office for the Head of the Court
According to the rules, the head of the High Anti-Corruption Court is elected for a term of three years. Prior to this, Vira Mykhailenko led VAKS, having been appointed to this position in 2023.
