The Ukrainian national football team has received reinforcements in defense.

Kyiv Dynamo defender Vladislav Dubinchak has officially been promoted from the reserve list to the main squad of the national team. This decision was made by head coach Serhiy Rebrov after it became known that another defensive player, Vitaliy Mykolenko, will be unable to assist the team in the upcoming matches due to injury.

For Vladislav Dubinchak, this call-up to the national team is not his first, but he has yet to make his debut with the national squad. Now he has the opportunity to showcase himself on the international stage in important qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup.
The “Yellow-Blues” will play two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup: on September 5 against France and on September 9 against Azerbaijan.
